About purpose4educulture

Many of us go through life asking ourselves constantly what is our life’s purpose. As a global citizen, I too, have tried to understand my life’s purpose. After doing a little traveling and as an English teacher, I have realized that education is an excellent vehicle for gaining appreciation and mutual respect for people of other cultures, backgrounds and beliefs. And through educational and cultural sharing, we learn so much about others and even more about ourselves. After my 2015 adventures in West Africa, I decided to launch purpose4educulture.org. I hope purpose4educulture can serve you in 3 ways:

  • provide a platform to comment on shared experiences in your world travels or in your hometown
  • keep you abreast of my learning experiences with people from other cultures
  • stay in touch with family and friends and make new friends on my adventures

So feel free to comment, share, and enjoy!

  2. Hello this is somewhat of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use
WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to get advice from someone with
experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

    1. Hi there,

Thanks for your message. I do not do any coding. I had a friend help me with that once, but it’s not necessary. Depending on which blog platform/host/company you use, you can just upload your photos/write and edit/design your website as you see fit. So in short, coding and dealing with HTML is totally avoidable. Hope this helps!

    1. Hi there,

  3. Hello! I simply wished to ask if you ever have trouble with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and that i ended up being
losing a few months of perseverance because of no data backup.

Do you have any solutions to stop hackers?

    1. Hi Blake,

I’m sorry to hear this. Thankfully, I have not had this issue. I think there is some sort of automatic backup WordPress provides (for an extra fee or included in the subscription, I am not sure). To save yourself some trouble, you can always purchase an external hard drive and back up your info. once a week, month or however often you see fit. It’s also a good idea to backup in multiple places. Hope this helps!

  4. I simply want to say I am just new to blogging and site-building and seriously enjoyed your web-site. More than likely I’m want to bookmark your website . You surely come with beneficial stories. Thank you for sharing with us your web site.

  5. Good day,

I stumbled upon your site, while trying to look up more information about Guangzhou. I will be teaching there, this Fall and would love to connect with people around and/or near the area. Awesome blog posts, I am also looking to start a blog, to document my pre, current, and post China experiences, etc.

Take care and keep on writing!
